Anomalisa: Movie Review

I used to love stop-motion animation. Having grown up in the era of Davey & Goliath Sunday mornings, crooning California Raisins and Ray Harryhausen's classic monster mashes, seeing "claymation" always brought back fond memories. Even the recent Radiohead animated video, while weaving a story of witch burning, made me feel happy and nostalgic somehow.
And then last night I saw a movie called Anomalisa.
Without getting into details, and in the interest of helping others out there, I'll just say this: if you have a childlike, innocent fondness for claymation and want to keep it that way, don't see this movie.
